Kia Soul: more details and photos

Kia calls the Soul 'a segment-busting urban crossover' model, but we'd pigeonhole it as an intriguing new rival to the likes of the Honda Jazz and Vauxhall Meriva, with a small dose of Mini charm thrown in for good measure. So what exactly is segment-busting about the Kia Soul?Is Kia right to label the Soul its value answer to the Mini?

Concept Car of the Week: Lincoln Indianapolis Boano Coupé (1955)

There is always a plethora of wonderful cars on display during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and also some not so wonderful, like the Spyker B6 Venator and Laraki Epitome. This year, one of the cars stood out with its bright orange color and unusual styling – the Lincoln Indianapolis Boano Coupé. Paris bans some cars to cut smog

PARIS is taking drastic measures to combat its worst air pollution in years, banning around half of the city's cars and trucks from its streets in an attempt to reduce the toxic smog that has shrouded the French capital for more than a week. Cars with even-numbered licence plates were prohibited from driving in Paris and its suburbs today, following a government decision over the weekend. Around 700 police were patrolling the morning rush-hour, handing out tickets to offenders.
